Sometimes necklaces and bracelets of sparkling crystals are distributed to the bridesmaids. Silver cufflinks, likewise engraved with names are likewise given to the best man.

However, many wedding favor ideas do not even have to cost as much as silver jewelry. Simple, everyday necessities are considered worthy wedding giveaways. Engraved match boxes, fancy soaps, perfumes and lotions, votive candle holders, aromatic candles, mugs, glasses, cutlery, dinner ware, embroidered handkerchiefs, embroidered towels, wallets, purses and card holders are all acceptable things to give as wedding favors. The possibilities are practically endless.

Wedding favors may either be purchased at specialty shops that specialize in jewelry or cosmetics or dinner ware. There are, additionally, outfits that specialize in wedding favors. In either case, the couple may choose from preexisting collections which they can see at the website of the outfit or in the real, live store. In case, nothing satisfies the customer, most of these businesses are willing to make something along the lines of the client’s preferences.

On the other hand, it is quite possible to make these wedding gifts at home if someone has the time to do it. The easiest gifts to make will be candy boxes made of cardboard. There are many templates for making all shapes of boxes on the Internet. Some of them are free under certain conditions.

All you need do is to print out an image of the template plus instructions on how to make a box from that template. The material for the box will depend on the shape of the box. Most boxes can be made of cartolina paper, and if you choose paper with the appropriate design, your box will be textured. When you are done with the box, some candy and some lace to tie it up is all you need to complete the wedding favors.
