Gifts for celebrating two and a half decades into marriage
Staying together with someone for 25 years is by no means easy. It’s said that you never truly know a person until you live with them. And if that has happened for 25 years, then a round of applause for you as a couple is well deserved. But for that silver anniversary, a romantic date night does not suffice. Gifts have to be in the picture to make it complete. If well thought out, a gift says everything you need to say and more. And as far as silver anniversary weddings gifts are concerned, there are many options available.
Even without emphasizing on it, silver anniversaries are best celebrated with silver gifts. Being a precious metal, there are so many gifts you could get- from picture frames with an engraved message, pieces of jewellery, to real roses preserved in silver. Let your imagination do the work for you when it comes to the silver gifts you pick out. But the more personal it is, the higher the chances that it will go down well with the couple.
The great thing about wine is that it makes a great gift. How do you give it as a silver anniversary gift though? First ensure it comes in a wine box, and with two glasses. Upon request, the glasses can be engraved with a personal message to the happy couple. A 25 year old bottle will be highly symbolic, so if you can get one the better. If not, then a rare bottle of champagne, like Dom Perignon should suffice.
A custom photo album, engraved in brush silver is good, more so when you have pictures of the couple before they dated, when they got married, and the milestones they have crossed together in the 25 years they have been together as a married couple. Compile a collection of songs that the couple love, and ensure you include the one they danced to on their wedding day since it’s the most important.
