5 Gorgeous Wedding Additions That Are Wonderful For Any Bride
After looking at various places and finding the perfect gown, you now need to choose bridal accessories to compliment it. It will take some looking to find the best ones for the gown you chose so carefully. At least five beautiful wedding accessories will bring the whole look together. It would be best to start with the bigger items.
One of the top five accessories is wedding headbands. This can be a veil with a tiara, halo or crown. It should accentuate your dress and not draw attention away from it. First, decide on the hairstyle you will be wearing, discuss it with your hairdresser and have sessions where you actually try the headpiece with your chosen hairstyle.
Tiaras are made of a metal base and decoration of stones, pearls, crystals or a combination. Their versatility of design makes them an excellent choice for just about any bride and will go with almost any type of gown she chooses. They can be worn alone or with a veil on a comb.
The other option is a bridal halo. It is a circular head piece attached such that it seems to float around the head. They look very good with hair that has been put up and short hair. Brides can also choose crowns to adorn the headpiece at the front.
Another important accessory is the shoes. The design of the shoe should complement the design of the gown. If possible, it should have the same details as the dress. A proper fit is critical to comfort as is breaking into the shoes by wearing them around the house before the day. Also consider selecting a more comfortable style of shoe that you can switch after the main event.
Bridal hosiery should complement the style and fabric of the trousseau. If you choose patterned hosiery go for that with small, simple motifs like floral designs. Patterned hose goes well with plain, unadorned shoes and while simple hosiery should be worn to keep balance with decorated shoes. Hosiery should match the fabric of the gown whether it is white or shades of it. Nude stockings will also work.
The other key item is jewelry. To avoid overwhelming the dress, go for low key and minimalist rather than large or loud. Again, the gown and the kind of wedding you are having should guide your choice. For an informal wedding such one being done at a garden or beach, you can push the envelope a bit more than for formal wedding where pieces may be quite elaborate and refined. For such events, pearls are a favorite.
Lastly, there are the gloves. Long ones are best accompanied with gowns that are strapless or sleeveless. This too should match the shade and embellishments on the gown. An ivory gown with crystals should be worn with a gown with the same details. As much as possible, get the gown and wedding accessories at the same time and if possible at the same place. This way, it will be easier that having to carry the gown to several shops to be sure the accessories go well with it.
